publicly praised the hiring of John Farrell is obviously a good thing. In stark contrast to the reactions toward Bobby Valentine's hiring a year ago, it can only ease the path for Farrell—a path that will not be easy given the condition of this team. Let's hope the "Good Vibrations" last.
