Red Sox Have Not Yet Started Skipper Search

New Manager?
According to the Boston Globe's Nick Cafardo, the Red Sox have not yet begun their search to replace fired manager Bobby Valentine. This, despite the fact that other teams—notably the Indians—have already hired their new skipper (Terry Francona). Previously, General Manager Ben Cherington had indicated that this year's search would be quick and efficient. Apparently, while they have their list in place, the process itself has not started. Maybe it's because they already have their guy (John Farrell) and it's just a matter of working out compensation with Toronto. We shall see. Hopefully, soon.
