In what may be the first of many off-season moves,
the Red Sox today claimed relief pitcher Sandy Rosario off waivers from the Miami Marlins. Don't get too excited, sports fans. While Roario performed well in AAA this year, his major league stats are underwhelming—an 18.00 ERA in three innings. But his batting average against was only .471. Nice pick-up.
