POLL: Division On Best 2013 SS Approach
The results to our latest FenwayNation Poll indicate that a slim plurality of readers (37.9%) support the idea of going with internal shortstop options like Mike Aviles or Pedro Ciriaco in 2013. Not far behind, nearly one-third (31.1%) opt for playing defensive whiz Jose Iglesias at short—no matter how poorly he hits. Another large share of readers (27.2%) think the Red Sox should sign or pursue a trade for an external shortstop option—like Elvis Andrus of the Rangers. Just under four percent of respondents (3.9%) believe that the Red Sox should try some other course at shortstop next year. You can still vote in this poll HERE.
