'Sleephold In Seattle'; Sox Lose 7th Straight

It wasn't so much the starting pitching today—Clay Buchholz pitched well enough to win—but rather stupid errors and lack of hitting that did in the Red Sox. The 4-1 loss to the Mariners (no longer "lowly" since they are better than Boston) was another example of how this team is quite creative in finding new and inventive ways to lose baseball games. At this point, you gotta feel for Bobby V.—leading a cadre of AAA players into oblivion. Pretty much only Dustin Pedroia is punching his time card every day ready for work. So much for the John Henry pep talk strategy.
