Player O' The Year to readers for the first time in our 13-year history. Readers will soon be asked to choose from among the top players in our
Player O' The Game rankings for 2012 (double-digit POGs). As the chart shows, the field includes at least one player who is no longer on the team—
Adrian Gonzalez—who made significant contributions. Also on the list are:
Dustin Pedroia,
Will Middlebrooks,
Jarrod Saltalamacchia,

Cody Ross. We will give readers a running tally of the results and formally name the
2012 Player O' The Year shortly after the season ends on October 3rd.
