Josh Beckett Nipped On A 9-3 'Ground-Out'

Come On Josh—Do The Hustle!
Josh Beckett has always been a pretty decent hitter. In 2006, he became the first Red Sox pitcher to hit a home run in 35 years (off the Phillies' Brett Myers). Yesterday, as a Dodger, he smoked a base hit to rightfield on a 2-2 pitch. Unfortunately, it was quickly scooped on two hops by one of the best defensive outfielders in the game—Carlos Beltran. Needless to say, the hustle-free Beckett was gunned out 9-3. By a lot. Mercy.
