"cold oatmeal". In fact, it's a good metaphor for the
entire 2012 season. Decades from now, when you try to recall how The Olde Towne Team did in 2012, "cold oatmeal" will tell you everything you want to know. From the surly attitude of the players, to the detachment of the ownership group, to the 'Looney Tunes' moods of Bobby V.—all "cold oatmeal". So, for the final 24 games of this benighted season, sit back in your easy chair, prop up your legs and swill down that cold oatmeal—with no brown sugar.
