A video from an April game in Chicago appears to show
an unidentified Red Sox player deliberately throwing a handful of sunflower seeds in the face of first base coach Alex Ochoa. The scene—captured by NESN—shows the Red Sox dugout just after Daniel Bard has exited the game. The player fills his hand with the seeds and tosses them in the face of Ochoa, who appeared to have just said something to a player or players. Ochoa walks away after the incident and Kelly Shoppach (now with the Mets) seems to be aggressively yelling at Ochoa as he leaves the scene. The disturbing video appears on the
