Through a process as elaborate as in any Dan Brown novel,
reports have emerged that John Lackey is the likely culprit in the new Red Sox melodrama "Snitch II: The Willy Insult". By a labyrinthine process of elimination through the 'tweets' and statements of
CCSNE's Gary Tanguay, Lackey is pinned as the player who went behind Bobby Valentine's back to ownership after the manager's dreaded Will Middlebrooks comment ("Nice inning, kid."). Only in The Nation would this have evolved into a
DaVinci Code thing.
