The Red Sox fought back from a 3-0 deficit early, took the lead, then lost it in
a 6-4 loss to the Pinstriped Posers. On a rain-soaked night, Franklin Morales gave up home run balls to Swisher, Granderson, Martin and Jeter—ultimately proving too much to overcome.
The loss puts the Carmine Hose at 58-62—a distant 6.5 games off the Wild Card pace. The curtain is rapidly closing on post-season hopes.
