Michael Pineda was the centerpiece of a trade that sent Yankee super-prospect Jesus Montero to the Mariners. Pineda was shut down in Spring Training and underwent season-ending shoulder surgery. Now, reports indicate that
the 23-year old was arrested in Tampa for driving under the influence of alcohol.
In 2011 for Seattle, Pineda was 9-10 with a 3.74 ERA. The Yankees were hoping he'd become a solid number two starter.
