According to a report by
WEEI.com's Rob Bradford,
the Red Sox have listened when other teams have inquired about troubled former ace Josh Beckett. While the sources have said "nothing is close" and that the exercise is just "kicking the tires", just the hint that the big Texan is on the bloc says a lot.
