Have no fear, Nation. The next six games are against Texas and New York. Cakewalk City. The Red Sox wrapped up their "home stand" with
a 15-7 shellacking—completing an embarrassing three-game sweep by the (formerly) lowly Blue Jays. In fact,
we are now the lowly ones of the American League East—again falling back to .500 in dead last. Jon Lester wasn't just bad, he was
epically bad—coughing up eleven runs—a career worst. His very first pitch was launched into the Monster Seats by Brett Lawrie. Adrian Gonzalez's three-run jack and Ellsbury's solo shot were no match for four Toronto home runs—one to the immortal Rajaj Davis. Methinks we need a blockbuster trade to shake up this situation.
