oppose the rumored trade of Carl Crawford (and a prospect like Xander Bogaerts) for former Sox prospect Hanley Ramirez (and closer Heath Bell). As the chart shows, a fairly substantial 54.4% majority oppose the swap, while 45.6% support the idea of bringing the "Prodigal Shortstop" back to Fenway. The opposition number has grown in the last few days—perhaps due to the solid performance of Carl Crawford in his return to the line-up.
