What should have happened weeks ago has finally happened—Dustin Pedroia is headed to the disabled list. This time, he injured another area on his previously injured thumb.

While it was valiant for Pedroia to try and play trough the torn muscle, it was stupid of the Red Sox to allow it. Now, he's lost in the most important series of the season. Is there any leadership in this organization?
