Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder
Justin Upton has let his employers know that he will not accept a trade to four teams: the
Red Sox, the
Yankees, the
Cubbies and the
Indians. I guess we can understand the Red Sox—his brother has probably offered a litany of reasons not to play at Fenway. The Yankees we get—intuitively. The Cubbies are a mess and won't win anything for at least five years under Theo, so we get that, too. But, the Indians? There's no pressure in Cleveland to win, and, amazingly, they've actually won more than the Red Sox this year (45-43—four games off the AL Central pace). Maybe Upton hates rock and roll.
