Daniel Bard (who was pretty much ruined by the stupid starter experiment) may be packaged in a deal to the Cubs for
Matt Garza. So, the guy who was tagged as the heir apparent closer in the post-Papelbon era is now going to be spare parts in a deal. Shameful. Apparently Jed Hoyer and Theo Epstein have enough faith in Bard to try and resuscitate his career on the North Side.
