Crawford And Middlebrooks Sit Out On Sunday

What on earth are the Red Sox thinking? As the season slowly recedes in the rear view mirror, Boston has decided to sit both Will Middlebrooks and Carl Crawford in the final game against the Blue Jays today. Apparently, Nick Punto and Daniel Nava are considered better solutions to Jays pitching. If this is a managerial decision by Bobby Valentine, you really have to question his grasp on reality. A loss today would firmly ensconce the Carmine Hose in last place.
