Carl Crawford Re-Hab Halted By Groin Strain

Crawford On Hold
According to the Globe's Peter Abraham, Carl Crawford's rehab will be put on hold due to a mild left groin strain. Crawford had been scheduled to move up to AAA Pawtucket, but that progression is now moot.

Now, he's unable to play in another minor league game for five days—after which the "rehab clock" restarts. Translation? More than likely, August at the earliest for the left-fielder's debut in a Red Sox uniform.
