Bogaerts, Barnes, Bradley And.....Henry Owens?

As the Red Sox ponder A.) whether to and B.) who to deal among their top minor league prospects, a host of familiar names have come to the fore. The top ones are Xander Bogaerts (SS/3B), Matt Barnes (SP) and Jackie Bradley Jr. (CF). They are the "cream of the cream" in Sox system. But, as WEEI.com's Alex Speier points out, the player the Boston brass may want to hide from rivals is a young left-handed starter in Single A Greenvile—Henry Owens (see photo). The 6'7" Owens has the highest strikeout ratio in all the minor leagues this year (almost 13 K's per nine innings) and apparently has a Schilling-like attention to detail and preparation. Add to that three plus pitches, and you've got a keeper.
