In a frank discussion with the
Boston Herald's Michael Silverman, Kevin Youkilis seems almost resigned to the inevitability of a trade out of Beantown. He admits that 2012 has been a difficult year—even hinting at friction with other teammates. But, resignation is the major theme that emerges from the interview—he seems to believe all the rumors of his departure to make way for rookie Will Middlebrooks at third base. Youkilis, whose wife is pregnant, only lamented the impact of a trade on family. But, otherwise, it sounds like he'd be OK with ending his tenure in town.
