Kevin Youkilis said he had to "bear down" and "focus" in his first game as a member of the Chicago White Sox. Initially, he did look a
little bit out of sync both at bat and in the field, but he seemed to get his bearings as the game went on. He went 1 for 4, grounding out a couple of times against a tough ground-ball pitcher (Liriano).
All in all, he seemed to 'fit in' with the team—although he'll probably
look a lot better in the Chicago home unis. Aside from the times he will play his old teammates (mark down July 16th at Fenway), we wish Youk all the best in his new career on the South Side.
