Pedroia "OK", But Will Sit Out Wednesday

Dustin Pedroia says he's OK. Nevertheless, Bobby Valentine is keeping him out of tonight's line-up for precautionary reasons. Nor surprisingly, Pedroia took infield practice this afternoon.

He expects to play Thursday against the Marlins. Apparently, the jury is still out on whether this latest incident will formally land the Muddy Chicken on the disabled list.

Nick Punto will start at second base tonight and hit ninth.
