Tonight, the Red Sox remembered that baseball has at least two sides. They rediscovered their offense, while Felix Doubront hurled seven nearly flawless innings in a
10-2 rout of the Marlins. David Ortiz went 2 for 2 with three RBIs—including his 15th HR. A-Gon went 3 for 5, with 2 RBIs, and Nick Punto went 2 for 2 with 2 RBIs off the bench. But it was Doubront who owned the night—taking a no-hitter into the sixth inning. The lefty gave up just three hits and struck out nine en route to his seventh win of the year. Boston now heads to TheoVille for a match-up with the woeful Cubs.
