Durgin Park Escorts For Marlins? |
Red Sox outfielder
Cody Ross is expected to be available as the team opens its homestand against the Miami Marlins on Tuesday night. Ross is recovering from a foot injury and will be a welcome sight to a Boston squad that has already seen 41 players come through the big club so far this year. Ross, a former Florida Marlin (2006-9), banged out 80 of his 108 HRs while toiling in Dolphin Stadium. To make the Floridians feel at home, the Red Sox are reportedly considering escorting the players onto the field with mean-spirited waitresses from Durgin Park (see photo).
