The final results to our latest FenwayNation Poll show that a plurality of readers (43.2%) favor the option of trading Kevin Youkilis when he returns from his recent injuries. This number is down from the majority levels we saw in the early voting. Nevertheless, almost four in five voters (78.1%) either favor a trade
or favor installing Will Middlebrooks as the everyday third baseman (and thus benching Youk).
Less than one voter in seven (13.7%) opts for starting Youkilis at third and either benching Middlebrooks or sending him to AAA. Finally, 8.2% chose the "other" category—most of whom wanted to place either Middlebrooks or Youkilis in the outfield with the other starting at third.
