Jed Lowrie (now with the Astros) went on the disabled list yesterday with a thumb issue. That's right, the dreaded malady that has already affected two Red Sox this Spring. Lowrie's sprained right thumb puts the digital disability on track to surpass "intestinal turmoil" as the #1 reason for missed time in 2012.
