"Closer" Chorye Spoone had a shaky ninth inning save as
the Red Sox edged the Washington Nationals, 8-7 at Nationals Park in D.C. in the final Spring Training game. The Red Sox blew a 6-0 lead, but hung on to eek out the win. Offensive stars were Jacoby Ellsbury and Dustin Pedroia, while Clay Buchholz hurled four solid innings before coming apart in the fifth.
