Sox And Jays Kiss Respective Sisters

The Red Sox, after winning a split squad "B" game earlier in the day, ended in a flat-footed tie with the Blue Jays in a later contest, 3-3 after nine innings. Fringe pitcher Justin Germano hurled two shutout innings in the sister-kissing tilt. Anderson, Shoppach and Sweeney were the offensive stars for Boston. In the first game, Jon Lester threw three scoreless innings.
