This is really the only logical choice—and Bobby Valentine even admitted that Josh Beckett feels the same way. As you may remember, FenwayNation readers overwhelmingly picked Lester as their choice to open the season (61.5%). Lester opened up last year, and nothing he has done since (on the field) justifies de-throning him.
