Former Red Sox right-fielder Josh Reddick went 2 for 3 with a home run in the
A's 4-1 triumph over the Mariners in the final game of the Japan Series at the Tokyo Dome. With the A's already up 2-1 in the seventh (after Yoenis Cespedes clouted a two-run blast), Reddick lofted a high drive into the right field seats off left-handed reliever George Sherrill. This is the fourth Japan opener for MLB, a series that started back in 2000. The
Red Sox, you may recall, faced the A's in the 2008 series.
