Carl Crawford's Wrist Examined Today

Red Sox doctors (and we use the term with a huge grain of salt) will examine Carl Crawford's injured wrist today at jetBlue Park.

The left-fielder's surgically-repaired left wrist was irritated after bunting drills earlier in camp. While the Boston medical team does not think this setback is serious—well, need we go on? The eventual timetable on Crawford's return will have a huge impact on the early season playing time of Cody Ross, Darnell McDonald and Ryan Sweeney.
