The innovative website Seedlings To Stars has a fascinating way of discerning the Top 100 Prospects in the AL East. The site scanned six of the top rating sites and created a "consensus" board of the prospects showing up across the various sites. When using this methodology, the Red Sox have eleven of the top one hundred. On the surface, this seems great—although only two prospects showed up on more than 50% of the lists (SS Xander Bogaerts and 3B Will Middlebrooks). Other Red Sox prospects showing up on this list (see chart) are Bryce Brentz (OF), Ryan Lavarnway (C/DH), Garin Cecchini (3B), Matt Barnes (RHP), Anthony Ranaudo (RHP), Jose Iglesias (SS), Sean Coyle (2B), Ryan Kalish (OF), and Blake Swihart (C).
