Sox Go 'Down Under' To Sign Aussie Lefty

The Red Sox have finally done something this off-season to improve their pitching. They signed 17-year old Australian pitcher Daniel McGrath to a contract. McGrath, who has yet to graduate high school, was pursued by several other MLB teams. He took the lower Boston offer (stop us if you've heard this before) because he's a lifelong Red Sox fan. The 6'3" lefty already throws in the low 90s and will go to Fort Myers for about a week and then return to school. So, the new NOG strategy should be to find players who carry a Red Sox Nation Card (just $14.95!) and low-ball them with an offer they can't refuse.
