In order to emphasize that he is not distracted by soccer, Red Sox owner John Henry is in Liverpool today. As his baseball team congregates in Fort Myers, The Forbes List Billionaire and his trusty side-kick Tom Werner are in the UK to tamp down a raging controversy over their cute little soccer team. Apparently, one of their star players made a racist remark to an opposing player.
Believe it or not, this is such a critical national issue that the Prime Minister of England is involved (idle thought: maybe President Obama can adjudicate the Theo compensation issue). In any event, the Red Sox are on American soil, and the NOG isn't. Mr. Henry, can you bring us back some Fab Four souvenirs while you're over there? Thanks, pal.
