Despite Bud Selig's tantalizing suggestion that an extra Wild Card would be added in each league this year, sources are telling ESPN that the scheduling complications are so daunting that the plan is unlikely to be workable for 2012.Of course, Bud could throw a tantrum (in between his tantrums over the Theo compensation issue) and demand that it be worked out. But, shoe-horning possible tie-breaker games and the one-game Wild Card play-ins in a two-day window is extremely impractical. Nice going, Bud.
