'The Can' Admits Cocaine Use While Pitching

The legendary Dennis "Oil Can" Boyd became even more so, after admitting that he routinely pitched while under the influence of cocaine. In support of his forthcoming autobiography, The Can claimed that he was never asked to take a single drug test in his career, but was threatened with placement in rehab. He claimed that the only teammates who ever supported him in this struggle were Dwight Evans and Bill Buckner. Boyd conducted the interview on WBZ radio. (Photo Credit: The BoSox Club)
