Daisuke Matsuzaka threw a change-up today for the first time in his recovery from Tommy John surgery. No word on whether it was a "circle" change or the infamous "gyro-ball". New Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine is encouraging Dice-K to throw more change-ups when he returns to the rotation sometime in mid-season.
