Hiroki Kuroda is apparently still on the Red Sox radar screen—according to FOX's Jon Paul Morosi. Boston is still in talks with Kuroda's agent about signing the 36-year-old right-hander. Kuroda has posted 41-46 record and a 3.45 ERA in four seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers of Los Angeles (not to be confused with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim). Kuroda has a pretty good 1.187 WHIP over that time, and has recently stated that he will not return to Japan in 2012, preferring to stay in the major leagues. Previously, he played in Japan for the Hiroshima Carp. Kuroda, in our view, is the best remaining #4 starter option for the Red Sox.
