The Warwick, Rhode Island native declined arbitration, but could still re-sign with the Carmine Hose. He was off-and-on effective for Boston in 2011. While he posted a 4.38 ERA, he had strikeout-to-walk ratio of nearly five-to-one. The Red Sox could do worse than to offer him a team-friendly one-year deal and solidify the bullpen even more than has already been done.
