The Baseball Hall Of Fame announced this afternoon that shortstop
Barry Larkin was the sole inductee for the 2012 class. The first 30-30 shortstop in history, Larkin spent his entire 19-year career with the Reds. Jack Morris, Jeff Bagwell and Lee Smith missed the cut, but all three garnered over 50% of the vote. Larkin, a Cincinnati native, hit .295 lifetime with a .371 OBP.
