Reports suggest that the Red Sox are one of a few teams interested in trading for White Sox starter John Danks. The Yankees turned back an offer that called for two of their top prospects for the 26-year old lefty (who turns 27 in April). Danks has compiled an "OK" career so far, but he's under .500 (54-56) with an ERA of 4.03. He has given up fewer hits than innings pitched (our pet pitcher stat), but he's hardly the kind of guy you give up multiple high prospects for, in our opinion. Add to this the fact that, unless signed to a new deal upon being dealt, he becomes a free agent in 2013. No thanks.
