Floyd, Quentin Could Be Sox Trade Options

If the Red Sox are skunked out of some of their preferred starting pitching options (Gio Gonzalez, Joe Saunders, Matt Garza), they may have a trade partner in the re-building White Sox. One possibility would be a swap of Sox outfielders (Josh Reddick or Ryan Kalish) for Pale Hose right-handed starter Gavin Floyd (pictured). If discussions along these lines begin, the deal could be expanded to include outfielder Carlos Quentin (with an obvious addition of more Sox prospects or roster players). As FOX Sports' Jon Paul Morosi points out, Floyd's career numbers at Fenway are quite good ( 3-0, 2.84 ERA).
