Lackey Was Third Worst MLB Value

According to calculations by baseballplayersalaries.com, John Lackey delivered the third worst value in baseball in 2011. Who could possibly have been worse than Lackey, you say? Well, these guys claim that Adam Dunn and Magglio Ordonez actually gave their teams less value than Mr. Personality. Just in case this lifts your spirits some, the site also says that Daisuke Matsuzaka's 2011 wins were the fifth most expensive in baseball—each one costing the Red Sox $3,333,333.
