BenCher should decide very soon whether Bard will be a much-needed starter (in which case he needs to be stretched out ASAP) or the new closer. Bard has been patient and deserves to know his role soon. Give all the issues with the starting rotation, we feel Bard should be the fourth starter (after Beckett, Lester and Buchholz) with either Madson or Bell closing. What do we know?
