On Wednesday, the notorious Canadian doctor, Anthony Galea, plead guilty to importing illegal drugs into the U.S.—specifically pushing HGH to athletes. What makes this more than an ordinary bust of another slimeball is the good doctor's connections to three New York players—Alex Rodriguez, Carlos Beltran and Jose Reyes.If Galea agrees to "out" the players he supplied, Rodriguez may be in serious trouble. According to the New York Times, MLB has suspected hanky-panky between the two for some time and this may be the way they connect the dots. After skating on his previous positive drug test (a lame apology apparently rehabilitating his "reputation"), a connection to Galea's HGH supply could be fatal to his career. We can only hope.
