FenwayNation's Dalton Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) experienced a sharp decline in June—falling 9.1 points to 91.5. The drop in the Index was fueled by nearly identical declines in confidence with the team's offense (-11.7) and starting pitching (-11.3). Confidence in the team's defense also fell—dropping 9.7 points since June. Confidence in relief pitching edged up 3.5 points.
The DJIA composite index is made up of confidence readings for four key metrics: starting pitching, relief pitching, overall offense and overall defense. The ratings are compiled from a select panel of 50 FN readers from around the world. You can see the scores for each of the metrics HERE.
